“It’s Really All About God”
I just bought Samir Selmanovic’s new book, “It’s Really All About God: Reflections of a Muslim Atheist Jewish Christian”. It’s highlights Samir’s personal journey through this messy thing we call religion and tells of ways to find common ground in the midst of all the differences. Check out the video promo for the book as well as the extremely funny and creative pitch filmed by his two daughters.

Empire State of Mind
In the middle of my trip back home.
Picked up a book:

Walked by some authentic city art:

Wife got to see exact street, building, school, neighborhood in Brooklyn that raised me.

Wisdom by Andrew Zuckerman

Inspired by the idea that one of the greatest gifts one generation can pass to another is the wisdom it has gained from experience, the wisdom project, produced with cooperation from Archbishop Desmond Tutu, seeks to create a record of a multicultural group of people who have all made their mark on the world.

Presented against the same white space, all of the subjects are removed from their context, which not only democratizes them, but also allows for a clear dialogue to exist between them. In an attempt to create a more profound, honest, and truly revealing portrait of these luminaries, the project encompasses their voices, their physical presence, and their written word.
